Jane Austen owned a donkey and a two wheeled donkey carriage which she used for transportation around the area. The rare Donkey Carriage remains in the Jane Austen's House collection to this day.
We have therefore brought donkeys back to Jane Austen's House in the form of this gorgeous plush Donkey (we did ask for a real donkey but the answer was no!). This adorable little donkey is made of recycled materials and is 22cm tall, 32cm long and 10cm wide.
