Inspired by the topaz cross necklaces owned by Jane Austen & her sister Cassandra, a gift from their younger brother Charles. Charles, an officer in the Royal Navy, bought the crosses with prize money he received from the capture of an enemy ship.

This inspired cross necklace is the emerald cut style, an approximate size to Jane Austen and Cassandra’s own, it comes set in silver, on an 18” chain, with champagne quartz stones.
Boxed, the cross measures 35mm in length, by 30mm wide (excluding the ring) Oval cut cross also available.
