This classic necklace design is inspired by the distinctive and unmistakable silhouette, believed to be of Jane Austen.
Around the spinning silhouette is inscribed L'aimable Jane.
The silhouette itself is held in the National Portrait Gallery, and was discovered in a copy of Mansfield Park in the 1920s. Today it is instantly recognisable as Jane Austen.
The necklace and pendant are sterling silver, and come boxed.
The chain is approx. 18" long.
